LAST NIGHTS CONCERT AT EL MORRO

The Concert was excellent!  My daughter reacted in a way when she saw Yanni come out on stage...BOY! She literally screamed, hahaha she was so, so excited at this concert, I would say more than last years concert. She was really, really looking foward seeing this concert.  And when they played Enders' "Ritual de Amor" she sang it all the way thru to the top of her lungs.  And of course, people looking back at us...like, trying to tell us something...LOL, I really did not care ;) why not let her sing!

Oh, the rain, the rain!  ;0!  It fell on us twice.  The first time, we waited and the cloud behaved for quite awhile until it started to pour again at least we were able to enjoy quite a few songs, old and new.  But what can you do, right?  The lighting at El Morro was spectacular!  All of those beautiful colors changing in the backround, especially in RED made EL Morro look so enchanting!  So breathtaking!

Lauren sang beautifully, gave me chills when she sang Nightingale, just lovely!  Ming, you ARE SOOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!! Love you!  I was soooo looking forward to listen to Marching Season, Dagnabit!  That's when the rain hit...LOL!  Everyone ran out and unfortunately, concert cancelled.  So sad! ;(  But we enjoed it while it lasted.  I met at the Rest. Raices, from the YMB and Yanni Community Cyndi, (missed you a lot Sherry) Jackie, Beth, Joy, Sebastian, can't remember the rest of the names but I enjoyed meeting you girls finally, It was just a wish come true.  We had a blast at the restaurant AND on the WHITE LEXUS BUS....we must of drove the driver crazy ....and the manager at the restaurant, heehee.....Hope we meet up again for furture concerts.  Ladies the pictures, please post them for me on my Facebook and blogspot, please as soon as you have the chance...Thank you Yanni.  Hope to see you back soon.

YANNI TO MAKE HISTORY AT EL MORRO'S GROUNDS

The stage is set, cobblestone streets, vibrant Spanish Colonial architecture and 500 years of history. On December 16 and 17, the San Felipe del Morro Fortress will add yet another chapter to its already rich history with the celebration of Yanni: Live at El Morro.
What were once the stomping grounds for Spanish Conquistadors, pirates and royalty will become the stage for Greek superstar composer Yanni. Puerto Rico's iconic citadel will engrave its name in an exclusive list of monuments such as the Taj Mahal, the Forbidden City and the Acropolis, that have played host to Yanni's epic performances.
Yanni is no stranger to Puerto Rico. After playing three times in Puerto Rico to a full house, his fourth presentation promises to be a special night for the people of Puerto Rico. The concert will be broadcasted to an audience of over 100 million from around the world through the Public Broadcasting System (PBS). It will be much more than an amazing display of sights and sounds, it will be a showcase of Puerto Rico's grandeur to the world. The night promises to be one full of excitement and as the composer said, "I am excited to work together with the Government of Puerto Rico and the National Parks Service to present this magnificent tribute to the beauty and history of this monument, the Island and its people."
If you are as excited as we are about this historic event, then you'll love this. See Puerto Rico will be giving away the ultimate Yanni Live at El Morro experience. Two grand prizewinners will receive round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations and tickets for two to see Yanni live at the Fort San Felipe del Morro. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for more details.
